Where I've Been so Far
Hi everyone! Heri here.
I've learned that many of my POH hostesses do scrapbooking, get all excited about both vintage and brand new photos, write in journals, research their family history, and who know what all else! Then, they spend all kinds of time on their computers talking to each other about what they're doing - or getting ideas or resources for more things they can do. I kinda like it! :)
And now, I'm learning all those things too! Since I'm writing up this - and I hear it's called a blog - thought today I'd start off with something many folks use all the time - before, during and after what they call their heritage projects
Ready? Going to make a list of everywhere I've been so far. I was already starting to lose track of things! So, I wrote it all out this morning, and thought I'd share it with you. Here we go:
Jan 16 - Found and claimed!. Left my store shelf. Arrived at MizViki's home in Oregon. Learned my life was going to change. Learned there were "Preserving_Our_Heritage" yahoogroup hostesses waiting in line to have me come visit. I got my name: Heri Poh and my Traveling Heritage Express journeys began. WOW!
Jan 27 - Left Oregon. Thanks, MizViki!
Jan 29 - Arrived in Massachusetts. Hello, Laurie!
Feb 11 - Left Massachusetts. Thanks, Laurie!
Feb 14 - Arrived in Michigan. Hello, Regina!
Feb 18,19 - Left Michigan by car. Overnight stay in Tennessee. Arrived in Florida for "vacation week".
Feb 24,25 - Left Florida, again by car. Brief stopover in Kentucky. Arrived back safe and sound in Michigan.
Feb 27 - Left Michigan via UPS. Thanks, Regina!
Mar 2 - Arrived in Wisconsin. Hello, Diedra!
Mar 20 - Left Wisconsin. Thanks, Diedra!
Mar 22 - Arrived in Florida. Hello, bj!
Wow! Can you believe all the places I've been? What a year 2006 is for me!
I've now heard there are seven more POH hostesses lined up to have me come visit! What a kind and generous and fun group you are! My little heart is just bursting at the seams!
You folks talk about life stories, right? Well, you're all giving me lots of them that I'm glad to be writing, photographing & scrapping. These tales will be going around in my bear family for generations to come!
Your thankful little friend,
Heri Poh
