Florida Vacation Memories - Day 4
Hi everyone! You all know I'm back in Florida again right now. I was looking over bj's shoulder as she was typing at her computer. She says she's very impressed with the scrapbook pages Regina put together for our Florida vacation. I am too! I'll be able to look at them anytime I want now. It's as if she's captured memories! I've learned that scrappers called these pages layouts See all the things you learn if you share time with heritage hunters? I'm sure a lucky little guy! But looking back, there's still one last vacation day to tell you about, so here we go!
Journal Entry for Feb 23rd
This is it, the last day at Disneyworld.
We head off to Downtown Disney and check out Planet Hollywood, Legoland and other fun places. Really cool huge lego displays that made even humans feel a little small. The sea serpent was my favorite. I could have done without the shark trying to eat me!
I met a nice chubby fellow named Jelly Belly and he let me sit on the seat of his motorcycle for a picture. Of course, I was too small to actually drive it. Lots of cool stores in Downtown Disney. The Christmas store was my favorite. We stopped at McDonalds for lunch and decide to head back over to Epcot center for the rides that the guys missed.
We wait in line for 1 hour and 40 minutes to take in the ride Soarin. This is a three minute ride that everyone agreed was not worth the long wait. (Funny to say that since there were soooooo many people waiting for those 3 minutes!)
We see the Dancing waters and check out the Legacy tiles. Uh oh, Regina's family has decided they want to do the Space Mountain ride. Ok, so I liked the outdoor roller coasters, but this one was scary! It goes up and down, sharp corners, and is in the dark. I was afraid I'd fall out and they'd never find me. I was glad when this one was over. I think I would have had more fun with Danielle and her mom walking around!
We decide we have seen everything on their lists (seems to me you humans love to make lists!) - so we head back to the hotel room to relax. We ordered pPizza in the room and decide to get all our goodies sorted out and packed for the trip back to Michigan in the morning. We talked about going to Daytona Beach and decided we would just travel home. I know I have 2 more trips to this wonderful state so I didn't mind waiting.
Back to the Present
And of course, you all know that "right now", I am back in Florida again - this time with bj! But this vacation to FL with Regina was my very first time and I'll never forget it!
All this sharing of memories can really make a bear hungry! So, I'm off to see what bj has in her refrigerator. Next time, I'll tell you about our trip back to Michigan and what happened next on my personal Traveling Heritage Express!
Your happy little bear,
Heri Poh
